All About Me

     I have always been compelled to make art and have been creating for as long as I can remember. I have a Bachelor's degree in Art & Art History from the University of Toronto and Sheridan College.   

      I am an acrylic painter, drawer and mixed media artist. I take inspiration from my surrounding environment and mental state to create compositions and imagery that exists in a liminal reality. I do this by combining realism and expressionism to create recognizable images with emotional motifs. I am inspired by Vermeer's observational voyeurism, Caravaggio's darkness, Tim Burton's quirkiness, Laymon's macabre, futurists' dynamism, Van Gogh's brushwork, Tchaikovsky's whimsy, and fairytales' vivid morality.
